Party Line
The festivities for Party Line Quartet started in January 2010, when four experienced barber-shoppers got together to “party on” by ringing barbershop chords.
Cyd Wentsel, tenor
Cyd is a long time member of the Region 19 musical leadership, serving as director, choreographer, arranger, coach, and faculty. She is an Approved Candidate Judge in the category of Music for SAI and currently sings baritone with the Pride of Baltimore Chorus where she is assistant director. In her “other life” she supervises the public school counseling program in Harford County, MD.
Sharon Ehrisman, lead
Sharon is a Salisbury native, working as an orchestra director in the Wicomico County Public School System. In her spare time, she hits the road traveling over 600 miles a week to satisfy her addiction to barbershop harmony. Besides singing lead in the quartet, Sharon sings with the Pride of Baltimore chorus and serves as lead section leader. She also directs a newly chartered chorus, Harmony on the Bay, which rehearses in Centreville, MD.
Liz Sloan, baritone
Liz has been a Sweet Adeline since 1991, singing with fellow barbershoppers from Oklahoma, California, and even Germany. Switching from Lead to Baritone whenever the opportunity has allowed, Liz is thoroughly enjoying her current opportunity to sing Baritone. She has been a member of the Pride of Baltimore Chorus since 2003.
Sarah Nainan-Newhard, bass
Sarah has been a Sweet Adeline since 1991. She is a member of the Harbor City Music Company, where she serves as the Visual Team Coordinator. Sarah has served as Education Coordinator and Communications Coordinator on Region 19′s Management Team, is a member of the regional faculty, and proudly represented the region at Sweet Adelines International Quartet competition in 2009 with The Fource Quartet. When not singing, Sarah is a software trainer for a national non-profit organization.
As you can tell, the members of Party Line quartet work just as hard as they party.
