Shiny Objects formed in 2024 and is made their contest debut this year.
Lead – Di, Bass – Janet, and Baritone – Mari all sing with Harbor City Music Company and decided to test their sound together after regional 2024 contest. They brought in tenor – Debbie, who is chapter-at-large, to add the final shimmer to their sound.
These ladies share a love of barbershop, furry animals, and all things purple and shiny! The name of the quartet came about organically when they noticed they could be easily distracted. So … it was either going to be Shiny Objects or… SQUIRREL!
Shiny Objects recently won the Novice Quartet award at the 2025 Region 19 Contest.
